COMMENTS: Our customer offered this snippet about his bike: his uncle purchased the bike in 1971 from a family friend. Uncle rode the bike, then stored it in a barn in upstate NY in the early 1980s. The bike sat until our customer obtained it from his uncle in the 1990s. He brought it to us in 2009 initially for mechanical work ("just get it running") but then opted to do a total restoration. Our customer hadn't rode since his days in the military 20 years ago. Now his BSA starts with 1 kick. Check him out the back roads of Virginia to see him riding his family heirloom. This restoration took over 75 hours labor, parts extra.
